Objective: Lead and direct a team of nutritionists responsible for breed-to-wean formulation. Provide guidance for current and future diet specifications and help set research objectives. Ensure diets are implemented correctly and in a timely manner. This person will also have direct management responsibilities for key accounts.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Expert understanding of nutritional requirements for all stages of swine production
- Should understand current management and production practices, commodity markets, and general swine industry knowledge
- Lead a team of nutritionists and communicate daily with customers
- Develop sales strategies to increase market share
- Strong mathematical skills needed.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Work with a fast paced, progressive management team.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
