What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counter Sales and Hose Technician position at Pirtek?
- Ensure customers receive the highest quality of service.
- Accurately document and update records in required software.
- Keeping and organizing work requests, customer requests, completed work requests, changes for work to be performed, and management of any other pertinent information. This is done through proper planning allowing store personnel, and field service technicians to perform their jobs.
- Perform required inventory cycle counts, and annual counts.
- Good Communication Skills. Must have the ability to communicate with in store customers, service technicians, mechanics, or the CEO of the company with the same courtesy and respect.
- Technical and product training, plus the use of the PIRTEK computer system.
- Professionally interacts with customers over the phone, email, or in person on a daily basis.
- Preparing daily work schedules, in coordination with the store needs, sales department, and field technicians.
- Very organized in following up with customers, sales, and field technicians.
- Accurately and timely performs daily functions of taking orders from customers, and company personnel. Entering and closing of orders, and managing store and assigned service vehicles inventory.
- Answer incoming calls from customers and field technicians concerning appointments, and schedule changes.
- Utilization of emails, text messages and other communicative tools to help efficiently manage customer needs, and field technicians needs during the day.
- Accurately document and update records in required software.
- Maintain diplomacy when addressing escalated matters.
Qualifications, expectations, and Education Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- Pass Pre-employment, random, post-accident, and annual drug screens.
- Must be able to safely lift 50lbs with no assistance.
- Communicate in English both written and verbal.
- Maintain any and all MSHA, OSHA, DOT, Site Specific, Company, and Compliance Registrations.
- Work on your feet moving for multiple hours throughout the day.
- Properly wear, use, and maintain PPE.
- Advanced Computer Skills.
- Mechanically Inclined.
- Multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be fit for duty each day.
- Perform any and all tasks requested with a positive attitude.
- Represent the value of PIRTEK at all times.

This position will be one where the individual gains knowledge and understanding of all PIRTEK products and services and be able and willing to explain their value. They will through excellent personal skills, both externally and internally, develop strong customer retention and relations.
