Pita Pit of Dayton is a small family-owned business located in Brown St next to the University of Dayton. We keep a professional while fun and agile work environment where our employees and customers enjoy their time at the restaurant. Our goal as a quick service restaurant is to offer fresh, healthy and delicious food; including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free dishes as well as meat lovers' options. At Pita Pit we adjust to the customer preferences offering CHEF INSPIRED dishes as well as BUILD YOUR OWN pitas, salads, or rice bowls with a variety of toppings, cheeses and sauces to choose from. We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible individuals to work as part of our team. The Crew Members we're interested in hiring must be hard-working, committed to success and able to take direction well. We are looking for individuals with a background in customer service and a genuine passion for food prep. While there is no prior experience needed, we would prefer candidates who have spent some time working in the restaurant industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers, take orders, and deliver food and beverages.
• Handle food following Health Department procedures.
• Be able to lift heavy objects (up to 40 lbs.)
• Be able to stand for long periods of time on your feet.
• Be able to handle stressful situations.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Have good communication skills.
• Have good interpersonal skills.
• Have good cleaning and organizing skills.
• Be able to follow directions precisely.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Seasonal

Pay: $10.50 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
