Job highlights Qualifications: * 1 Years working with Maya, 3dsMax, Blender or similar * 1 Years working with Substance Painter, Zbrush or similar * 1 Years working with Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar * Some understanding of 3D art fundamentals * An eye for creating stylized and realistic assets * Hard surface and organic modeling * Ability to design basic and complex 3D assets in various art styles * Ability to collaborate with other artists, designers, engineers, and managers * Ability to fluently communicate in English, both written and verbal * Ability to problem-solve and communicate effectively with others * Ability to stay on-schedule and manage your own time * Some experience working with Jira, Asana, Basecamp, or similar tracking tools * Some experience with Lightmap baking and reflective probes in engine * Some experience with PBR pipeline understanding (HDRP implementation) * Some experience with basic animation (rigging/skinning) * Some ability to set dressing, LOD creation * Some experience in source control pipeline. Adding repo project to engine, and checking out and submitting assets. * Some experience with creating art texturing * Some experience in low-poly art creation * Some experience creating 2D textures, materials, filters and 3D models in a node-based interface Responsibilities * Create 3D assets and textures to decorate and bring environments to life * Work closely with the rest of the art team to maintain a consistent and always improving aesthetic across all 3d assets in the game * Understand game requirements to create assets that are optimized for gameplay, deformation and animation * Receive feedback from art director, animators and design, and editing your creations based on the comments received * Able to give and receive constructive feedback * An eye for sculpting, composition, texture, color, and lighting * Follow close to concept or able to provide proper image reference * Online availability during our core hours of 10 am to 4pm PST Benefits Full description Company Description- Pixel Dash Studios is seeking an experienced 3D artist with a passion for game development.
