SUMMARY OF POSITION
Pixelberry Studios brings innovation to mobile games and we could use some extra hands! We are seeking a full-time Senior QA Analyst to work 40-60 hours per week depending on workload. The candidate will be juggling their time between attending production meetings, creating and executing test plans, overseeing a small team of external QA testers, and drafting test reports. Starting pay depends on experience. This is a full-time permanent hire.
Our headquarters are in Los Altos, CA but we can accommodate a remote work environment for a candidate from the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Texas, and Washington.
Currently, all Pixelberry staff work remotely with the option to work in-office, if desired.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the voice of QA in production meetings by raising questions and concerns, updating production on testing status, and gathering information to share with the team
- Create, maintain, and help execute test plans
- Lead a team of external QA testers and work with peers internally to ensure testing is done on time
- Create and present test status reports
- Assist in hiring and training team members
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of QA test experience in a work environment
- Strong in English
- Familiarity with the mechanics of playing web and mobile games
- Have strong knowledge using the Jira bug database system and Testrail test case management tool
- Willingness to work under direction and independently
- Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication skills for effectively presenting and conveying issues found with the production team, and for assigning tasks to other team members
- Proficient writing skills for writing up test plans and bug reports
- Being able to effectively multitask on a daily basis
- Take ownership of any mishaps from the QA team and have the mindset to correct and prevent reoccurrences of similar mistakes
- Have the ability to lead a group of external testers

Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (annually)
The salary range for the role is $61,772 - $92,659 annually.
Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position. Where an individual’s pay falls within the range is determined by factors including, but not limited to, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
In some cases, compensation may fall outside of this range depending on factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
