Job Summary
- Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Present the menu, inform guests of specials and answer any questions they may have
- Take food orders and relay them to the kitchen staff with accuracy
- Prepare and deliver beverage orders
- Serve dishes promptly and garnish them with proper presentation
- Assist in stocking and resetting tables, as well as bussing tables
- Collaborate with team members to ensure guest satisfaction with food and service
- Complete opening and closing checklists
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Job Requirements
- Must be organized, flexible, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Basic math skills and accuracy in handling money
- Pleasant, personable, and friendly attitude
- Sense of urgency and ability to maintain a fast-paced environment
- Must be at least 16 years old with reliable transportation
Physical & Mental Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for periods of up to 4 hours
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication
- Must be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to customers, team members and management
- Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel repeatedly over a long period of time
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
