The Business Development Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the sales team to achieve their goals by providing administrative, operational, and support services. Responsible for providing comprehensive support to the sales team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role involves administrative tasks, customer service, order processing, and coordination with various internal departments to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.

The Business Development Support Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting the sales team to achieve their goals by providing administrative, operational, and support services. Responsible for providing comprehensive support to the sales team to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role involves administrative tasks, customer service, order processing, and coordination with various internal departments to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.
Responsibilities And Duties
- Assist with preparation and coordination of new sales team member training.
- Maintain accurate records in SalesForce of sales activities, including customer interactions, orders, and sales forecasts.
- Serve as one of the primary contacts for customer inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses to questions about products, pricing, and order status.
- Assist in the preparation of sales reports, including pipeline analysis, performance metrics, and trends using dashboards in Salesforce.
- Handle administrative tasks in SalesForce such as data entry, account setup, user administration, assigning new customers, etc.
- Support all distributors in SalesForce in setting up new VCPs.
- Lead assignment and monitoring for all sales team members.
- Assist with routing operations as backup support for route changes, adjustments, and updates based on operational needs
- Presents self in a highly professional manner to others and understands that honesty and ethics are essential.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
- Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint)
- Legal Age: 18 Years
- Education or Equivalent Experience: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Function Specific Experience: 0 to 2 years related experience.
