What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line leader position at PL Developments?
Work Schedules 2nd shift : Monday - Thursday 4 : 30p - 3a OR Weekend Shift : Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6a - 6 : 30a
JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
- Basic math skills needed
- Ability to lift, pull or push up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Fluent verbal / written English
- Must be able to work with a variety of personalities
- Ability to work standing / walking for extended periods of time
- Ability to work well with others
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Ensure product integrity through compliance with cGMP
- Must comply with all Packaging Operator duties on the blister and / or carton lines
- Assist Line Leader with day to day operations
- Communicate employee issues, machinery malfunctions and quality issues to supervisor
- Oversee the day to day activities of line personnel in the absence of the Line Leader (vacation, sick / personal, LOA)
- Verify the upcoming labels for the job in the Label Room and the upcoming components for the job in the warehouse
