Administrative Assistant/Leasing Consultant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Administrative Assistant/Leasing Consultant to join our team. As an Administrative Assistant/Leasing Consultant, you will play a key role in assisting with the day-to-day operations of our multifamily property. You will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure the efficient management of the property, maintain tenant satisfaction, and achieve financial goals.
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Oversee daily onsite operations to ensure the property is maintained.
Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
Assist with leasing activities including showing available units.
Screening prospective tenants, and processing lease agreements
Collect rent payments, late fees, and other charges from tenants.
Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on delinquent accounts.
Complete regular inspections of units and common areas to ensure they meet company standards and address maintenance issues as needed.
Assist with new tenant move-ins.
Assist in ensuring the overall appearance of the property is in suitable condition by performing regular inspections of the grounds and facilities.
Assist in implementing policies of the community/company.
Responsible for issuing violation and non-payment of rent notices.
Assist in managing daily bank deposits.
Candidate Qualifications:
Prior experience in property management, preferably in multifamily residential properties.
Bilingual Spanish/English
Ability to work 7:30am to 4:30pm (1 hour lunch)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge and understanding of landlord/tenant and Fair Housing laws
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
A consistent positive and professional attitude
Strong writing skills to produce written correspondence and notices.
Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Current and valid driver’s license is required.
A cellular device is required for communication throughout the workday.
Reliable transportation is required.
