The Placer County Elections Office is seeking poll workers in western Placer County for the June 7, 2022 Statewide Direct Primary Election. We need your help!
Poll workers are responsible for conducting the voting in strict accordance with the voting laws of the State of California, and in doing so they perform a very important service in preserving our democratic way of life.
A precinct board consists of an Inspector, Judge, and Clerks. Training is available and will be held in Auburn, Rocklin and North Lake Tahoe. You must be able to work from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Election Day. Depending on the position, you can earn $100 - $160 for volunteering as a poll worker!
We are also actively seeking poll workers who are bilingual in Spanish, Tagalog, Korean or Punjabi.
Volunteering can also be a fundraising opportunity for your service club, school booster club, church group, etc. Earn up to $900 for your group by staffing an entire precinct board on Election Day and attending training classes.
