Quality Control Lab Housekeeping

Our premier client is seeking an associate to join the Quality Testing Lab Team at one of the Fabrics Division’s facilities in Elkton, Maryland. The primary focus of this commitment is to support housekeeping in the washer area of the QC lab. As a member of this team, you will support, communicate, and drive housekeeping needs in the washer area, as well as work closely with a diverse team to drive and accomplish team objectives. This job requires heavy lifting to access washers to clean and remove debris.

The commitment responsibilities include:

• Performing housekeeping functions in the washer area
• Cleaning washing machine trays, washers, and additional housekeeping needs that arise
• Communicating schedule
• Planning time and coordinating efforts with two labs
• Will be responsible for moving top load washers and dryers to access cleaning areas
• Being able to lift a minimum of 80lbs
• The successful candidate will be capable of working on their knees for long periods of time
• Frequent movements requiring individuals to get up and down from the floor
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental practices

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years working experience working in handy work
• Knowledge of and certified to use heavy machinery to move items
• Ability to work independently as well as in a functional team environment.
• Effectively identify and proactively communicate any issues
