Receiving Lead

Placers is seeking a motivated Receiving Lead for our premier client site located in Elkton, MD. The ideal candidate must have 3 years of distribution experience. The main responsibility of this role is to ensure receiving needs are met. This will be done by coordinating work with team members and using the warehouse management system to record movement of products. Basic math skills and computer literacy are required!

$21/hr

Monday-Friday

10am-7pm

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in coordinating daily responsibilities of team members

• Use the warehouse management system to accurately record movement of materials

• Safely and efficiently load and unload trailers, shelves, racks, and pallets

• Accurately inventory materials and products

• Weigh materials and products then record weight on tags

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs and increase efficiency

• Adhere to established company values, practices, policies, and procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Possess physical strength necessary to move and lift heavy materials

• Use a handheld computer unit to access the company’s WMS

• Accurately multiply, divide, add, and subtract whole numbers

• Logically troubleshoot issues and prioritize production needs

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 3 years of distribution experience

• 2 years of experience in a Warehouse Lead position

• Reach Truck, Stock Picker
