Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Administrative Assistant to perform various administrative and clerical tasks within the organization. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities efficiently. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a generalized inbox and route questions appropriately.
- Verify insurance information from parents/guardians and insurance companies.
- Assist with gathering patient intake forms from parents and/or guardians.
- Enter patient goals accurately into Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software.
- Correct data issues within existing applications to maintain accurate records.
- Submitting claims to insurance companies for reimbursement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typing Speed: 60 words per minute (WPM)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role.
- Experience working in healthcare.
- Knowledge of insurance verification and billing procedures.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
