The Product Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products and services meet Company and regulatory standards. They develop testing parameters for products, review products for compliance with established standards, and assess production procedures.
Essential Accountabilities
- Performs quality checks for the manufacturing lines, enters data into SPC, and communicates results to all responsible parties
- Must have a good understanding of Placon product specifications
- Collects, reviews, and stores all applicable Quality records, including the retention of product samples
- Conducts PSA Audits as instructed by Quality Manager
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent experience
Ability to read, speak and effective write effectively in the English language
A minimum of one year of manufacturing experience. Exposure to quality systems and procedures is desirable
Desired Skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a keen focus on accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- General understanding of the concept of formal quality systems, Total Quality Management concepts, and conducting internal process audits
- Basic mathematical skills

Equipment/Tools Used:
Phone, Oracle ERP software, Infinity SPC software, multiple calibrated measuring devices such as Calipers and Micrometers
Physical Requirements: Light work (lift 10 lbs): Light sample or production support
