Your daily responsibilities include
- Responsible for fostering a fun environment
- Responsible for being a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
- Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events
- Prepare accounting work papers and other supporting data in a concise, organized and referenced manner with proper audit trail documented
- Maintain confidentiality over all financial data
- Complete assignments within the specified time limits with ability to adapt to changing circumstances
- Review processes and recommend improvements related to internal controls and procedures
- Communicate deviations to internal controls along with timeliness of required tasks to be completed
- Regularly maintain detailed reconciliations of certain balance sheet accounts
- Prepare documentation for external and internal auditors
- Support the Senior Accountant and Accounting Manager in carrying out the responsibilities of the Accounting Department
- Any other reasonable job duty as assigned by Management
Qualifications
- Must have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude
- Must be 21 years of age
- Must enjoy hosting others
- Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university, or comparable work experience
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Word)
- Must have the ability to read, write and speak English
- Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies
- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and manuals
- Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Prior experience with Fixed Asset reporting is a plus
- Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret various metrics, financial reports, and legal documents
- Must have the ability to write reports
- Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs, and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in vary work areas such as confined spaces
