What are the responsibilities and job description for the BSA Compliance Specialist position at Plains State Bank?
We are seeking a BSA Analyst to become an integral part of our team! You will analyze data to understand business and market trends in order to increase company revenue and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist BSA Officer in compiling and preparing information for external audits and examinations by the regulatory agencies.
- Monitor account transactions to ensure compliance with federal regulations covered by the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Conduct semi-annual due diligence reviews on high-risk customers to ensure compliance with BSA requirements.
- Assist with reviewing the accuracy and information provided by the branches entered on Currency Transaction Reports (CTR). Ensure the information in the monitoring system is ready for filing.
- Assist BSA Officer in preparation of Suspicious Activity Reports as needed.
- Assists in the administration of the automated BSA/AML/Fraud system, research analyze, investigate, and resolve fraud alerts generated by monitoring system accordance with BSA/AML/OFAC monitoring policy.
- Perform daily review, monitoring, and analysis of various reports, logs and transactions data
- Assist in investigating, identifying, and reporting matched suspects by reviewing daily OFAC reports or when updates occur with the AML system.
- Interact positively with other departments and offices of Plains State Bank to achieve a teamwork environment by maintaining external and internal customer service.
- Stay current on all Compliance-related regulations with particular focus on changes in BSA-related regulations.
Salary : $45,000 - $65,000
