Who Plan West is looking for:
Plan West seeks individuals with an interest in site development and 1-3 years OR 10 years of experience in land use planning, site design, and/or entitlement management. We are expanding our team with creative people who are looking for the opportunity to expand their professional knowledge and want to express their ideas from concept through development. Skills and talents we value:
Experience with land development, land use planning, site design, design detailing, and urban design
Creative design skills, problem solving skills, and presentation abilities
Knowledge and experience with zoning documents and entitlement management, including the submittal/approval process with municipal governments and agencies
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite
Ability to clearly convey ideas verbally, graphically, and in writing
The desire and ability to become a project leader as well as participate in a supporting role on projects led by others
Landscape Architecture registration (required only for Studio Lead position)
Compensation is based on experience and includes competitive salary, paid holidays, PTO, shared health care, Simple IRA match, and flexibility in a small office environment with personal support and attention.
