Job Posting for Photometric Tester at Planate Management Group
The Photometric Tester is responsible for testing the airfield lighting fixtures, implementing specifications and system design into a lighting engineering development concept.
Our salary range for this position, based on the market data, is Php300-450/hour (range varies depending on experience and qualifications).
Key responsibilities:
Perform tests and calibrates photometric sensors
Plan and develop CAD and calculation of geometries for optical component
Coordinate the computer-aided simulations in close cooperation with the other development departments
Plan and commission development-accompanying tests and ensure the feasibility of the lighting technology concepts, in particular of photometric testing and adjustment concepts
Carry out the photometric evaluation of the developed systems with regard to legal requirements, standards and customer requirements
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
Successfully completed technical studies in the field of lighting technology, optics or physical engineering
Knowledgeable in the designing of airfield lighting units
Highly knowledgeable in conducting photometric calibration
CAD basic knowledge
Willing to travel as well as very good command of spoken and written English
