Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. As a QuickBase Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining QuickBase applications to support our business processes. You will collaborate closely with the IT Group to create innovative solutions that enhance productivity and efficiency. This position is crucial for the development, support, and maintenance of QuickBase applications, ensuring their success and helping us meet project deadlines. The QuickBase app will be used to streamline business processes and improve data management, making this role instrumental in achieving our business objectives.
Key responsibilities:
- QuickBase Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain QuickBase applications to streamline and automate business processes, ensuring they meet project deadlines and guarantee success.
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements for QuickBase applications, aligning them with project objectives.
- Database Management: Create and manage databases in QuickBase, ensuring data integrity and security while supporting the application’s success.
- Integration: Integrate QuickBase with other systems and tools to ensure seamless data flow and communication in line with project deadlines.
- Workflow Automation: Develop workflows and automation solutions within QuickBase to optimize processes and improve data management.
- User Training: Train and support end-users on QuickBase applications and functionalities to ensure the successful adoption of the app.
- Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve issues with QuickBase applications, providing timely support to maintain application success.
- Quality Assurance: Perform testing and quality assurance to ensure that QuickBase applications meet business requirements and are free from errors.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of QuickBase applications, including design specifications, user guides, and change logs.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest QuickBase features and best practices and make recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications to be successful in the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as a QuickBase Developer or any relevant position.
- Proficiency in QuickBase development, including building custom applications, tables, forms, and reports.
- Experience with database design, data modeling, and integration of QuickBase with other applications.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- QuickBase certification is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
