Job Title: House Manager for Assisted Living in Centennial, CO
Job Summary: As a Caregiver House Manager for an assisted living facility, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to residents while overseeing the day-to-day operations of the household.
Your responsibilities will include managing the living environment, coordinating care services, and ensuring the well-being and safety of residents including medication management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Care:
- Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) for residents, including personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure residents adhere to their medication schedules order medications.
- Monitor and assess residents' health and communicate any changes to the healthcare team.
Household Management:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities within the assisted living facility.
- Oversee meal preparation, ensuring residents receive nutritious and well-balanced meals according to dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment, coordinating with housekeeping staff.
Care Planning:
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
- Participate in care conferences to discuss resident progress, adjust care plans, and address any concerns.
Staff Supervision and Training:
- Provide guidance and supervision to caregiving staff.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff is knowledgeable about resident care protocols, safety procedures, and emergency response plans.
Communication:
- Foster positive communication with residents, their families, and healthcare providers.
- Document and maintain accurate records of resident care, incidents, and changes in condition.
Safety and Emergency Preparedness:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure the well-being of residents.
- Conduct regular emergency drills and training sessions for staff.
Problem-Solving:
- Address and resolve conflicts or concerns among residents and staff.
- Collaborate with the management team to find solutions to operational challenges.
Personal Development:
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and new caregiving techniques through continuous education.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in caregiving or healthcare is a plus.
- Proven experience in caregiving, preferably in an assisted living or similar setting.
- Strong organizational and managerial skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
