Do you want to join our journey to be a world class manufacturing plant? We are presently looking for a new member to join Plasman plant located in Fort Payne, Alabama, as:
PLANT MANAGER
Are you a self-motivated leader, with high communication skills and want to have full P&L responsibility for the complete operations of our Plant in Gothenburg? You will report to VP of Operations Europe and be part of Plastal European operations team. This is one of our most complex plants, where we deliver just-in-time-, and in sequence, with production running in three shifts, five days a week.
Responsibilities and tasks you will enjoy:
- The overall P&L responsibility for the plant - driving your motivation
- Develop and execute strategies for the business area, as well as challenging financial and operational KPI targets - proving your analytic skills and hunger for results
- Questioning and optimizing the existing - will show your courage
- Developing, implementing and maintaining Quality and Business Operating systems - driving you to do it right from the first time
- Making sure that the company always is good organized with right competences - showing your interest for human resources development
- Building a team and performance culture through visual management and excellent leadership - you do by giving others the responsibility
- Building trust and great communication internally and with business partners - you do respectfully with great communication skills
- Care and relations to existing as well as potential customers - is crucial for you
Who are you?
- Have minimum of 10 years progressive experience in plant operations leadership roles within a large automotive environment.
- A Bachelor or Master education in manufacturing or industrial engineering, or similar faculty.
- Have strong business acumen with good understanding of customer measurables, financial control, operational and P&L KPIs, and solid understanding of systems, equipment and processes used within the automotive industry.
- Have excellent leadership, collaboration, planning and executing skills.
- Have experience both in quick business turnaround as well as continuous improvements. Demonstrated success as an agent of change.
Other Requirements:
- Lean and Six Sigma experience will be a plus.
- Experience in assembly, plastic injection molding and / or painting processes will be a plus.
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both oral and written.

Salary : $103,000 - $130,000
