JOB TITLE: CHIEF GROWTH OFFICER

DEPARTMENT: GROWTH

REPORTS TO: PRESIDENT & CEO

CLASSIFICATION: EXEMPT

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

As the Chief Growth Officer (CGO) you will play a pivotal role in driving Platform Aerospace's growth strategy and expanding our presence in the market. The Chief Growth Officer will optimize the business' activities for profit within existing and new markets. This business leader operationalizes the dynamics between four key areas of activity in order to drive Platform's growth: Marketing, Sales, Product, and Finance.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Growth Leadership:

  • Commits to delivering value for Platform's shareholders and clients, not just "selling" products and services.
  • Serves as a member of the Executive Management Team and provides data driven guidance and direction for strategic and business growth.
  • Reviews current corporate operations and organizational structure with a view toward streamlined improvements for growth and profitability.
  • Drives the vision for company growth by providing leadership, inspiration, and coaching including strategizing and working with operational teams to formulate new ways to continue to grow our client base.
  • Effectively manages investor relationships.
  • Provide general management and coaching to front-office staff, nurturing a positive, "can do" culture.

Business Development:

  • Be a lead contributor to revenue and profit generation initiatives.
  • Measures and analyzes current revenue streams, offerings, and relationships to optimize Platform's business growth and revenue strategy.
  • Applies knowledge of Government contracting, current acquisition trends and client buying behaviors to identify key growth areas and develops new business aligned with growth strategy.
  • Prioritizes and manages growth budget to ensure maximum return on investment.

Financial Planning/Sales Revenue Generation:

  • Creates strategic growth plans and financial roadmaps, supported by financial models.
  • Drives sales initiatives that resonate with Platform's mission and vision.
  • Ensures resources are allocated effectively to drive maximum impact exec

Marketing:

  • Develops and updates comprehensive growth plans, including strategies, pipelines, targets, and metrics; presents reports, as needed, to executive leadership, Board of Directors, and investors.
  • Spearheads innovative marketing strategies that align with Platform's mission and vision
  • Performs other duties as are necessary and/or required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBA or Advance Degree preferred in a relevant field.
  • Deep understanding of UAVs technology and the defense industry

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 10 years of proven experience leading business growth and operational improvement programs
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance
  • Proven track record of leadership in strategic growth roles.
  • Strong business development background with a demonstrated ability to build and nurture client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and influence cross-functional teams to achieve Platform's goals.
  • Strong understanding of partnership development strategy, sustainable growth planning, and revenue generation.
