Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Associate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Incoming Shipments: Efficiently manage the receipt of incoming orders, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Quality Control and Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming and outgoing parts, confirming quality and adherence to specifications, and promptly resolving any issues.
  • Packaging Expertise: Skillfully assist in the packaging process, ensuring parts will be protected during shipping.
  • Operational Collaboration: Partner with team members to maintain a seamless flow of operations, from receiving to shipping.
  • Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with internal teams to address and resolve shipment or inventory challenges.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve shipping and receiving processes for greater efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:

· High school diploma or equivalent education.

· Prior experience in a similar material handling role is preferred but not required.

· Attention to detail and ability to identify defects or irregularities in parts.

· Basic understanding of safety protocols and practices in an industrial setting.

· Strong teamwork and communication skills.

· Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.

· Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a non-climate-controlled, industrial environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
