Sr. Technical Program Manager

Location; Newport Beach, CA (hybrid, 2-3 days onsite per week)

• Manage 2-3 major projects within the Cloud Shared Services (CSS) and Data Center Services (DCS) space (e.g., unified data protection project, datacenter configuration management project).
• Track high-level project status for the overall portfolio of projects within CSS and DCS roadmap (55 total initiatives).
• Keep initiatives on track by working with senior executives to ensure they're being prioritized appropriately, and key quarterly milestones are being achieved, or dates and status updated accordingly.
• Proactively identify and resolve impediments to team progress. Identify upstream and downstream dependencies for deliverables, coordinating delivery across delivery methodologies (agile, fixed deliverable contracts, etc.) and teams.
• Communicate with leaders across the organization to ensure transparency into delivery progress, challenges, and risks.
• Develop and maintain project artifacts including charter, budget, schedule, status reports, change management plan and RAID log, as necessary.
• Manage budget, track expenses, facilitate deliverable acceptance, and ensure adherence to program financial guidelines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 years' experience in IT project management.
• Experience in managing technical projects across different platforms (Cloud, Azure, AWS, MS 365, Data Center information).
• Hands on project execution experience using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Leadership and good communication skills.
• Problem solving, consultative, and analytical abilities.
• Previous big 5 consulting firm experience is a plus.
• Financial services (Banking/insurance) industry experience is preferred.
