Responsibilities:
Sourcing and Supplier Selection:
Identify potential suppliers for aerospace materials, components, and services based on quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Evaluate supplier capabilities, reliability, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and performance evaluations to ensure adherence to contractual agreements and quality standards.
Contract Negotiation and Management:
Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings and mitigate risks.
Draft, review, and execute procurement contracts, purchase orders, and service agreements in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Monitor contract performance, enforce terms and conditions, and resolve disputes or discrepancies with suppliers as needed.
Supply Chain Coordination:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, manufacturing, and logistics teams, to understand project requirements and procurement needs.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop procurement strategies, manage inventory levels, and optimize supply chain efficiency.
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement, such as lead times, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover.
Risk Management and Compliance:
Assess and mitigate risks related to supplier performance, supply chain disruptions, and regulatory compliance.
Ensure that all procurement activities comply with relevant aerospace industry regulations, standards, and certifications, such as AS9100, ITAR, and FAA requirements.
Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry trends that may impact procurement processes and supplier relationships.
Supplier Relationship Management:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration, trust, and mutual success.
Communicate effectively with suppliers to convey expectations, address issues, and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify opportunities for supplier development, cost reduction, and innovation through strategic partnerships and supplier diversity initiatives.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs through process optimization and automation.
Implement best practices and industry standards for procurement and supply chain management, leveraging technology and data analytics tools as appropriate.
Participate in cross-functional teams and initiatives focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and cost savings within the organization.

Salary: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
