About Play On Philly

Play On Philly (POP) is a non-profit organization that enriches K-12 students’ lives by providing daily, after-school music instruction in communities that have little to no access to music education. During the summer, POP students and the greater community have the opportunity to take part in our three-week, full-day summer program.

With over 110 students enrolled in POP’s summer program, located at Temple University’s Boyer School of Music and Dance, we are looking to partner with organizations and creative teachers to offer activities which complement their rigorous musical studies.

Student musicians will learn to be collaborative, healthy, and physically fit through a variety of activities designed to get students moving!

The PE Teacher is responsible for the design and format of the class and will be responsible for adhering to the POP rules and guidelines for student citizenship. POP will provide the necessary materials and equipment. A POP intern may be available to assist with instruction and classroom management.
