Position Overview
The Accounts Payable Clerk will monitor, maintain, and process payment disbursements, enhance customer service, answer incoming phone calls, and greet guests. This role will also perform general clerical functions and projects for various departments within the PlayPower brands.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable process from beginning to end, including coding billing and sending to sister brand’s finance team to pay.
- Filing and maintaining finance and office records.
- Configure order entries by accurately verifying all sales orders are set-up correctly.
- Process Purchase Order receipts and orders.
- Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operations of the accounts payable function and office function.
- Monitor and fulfill MREC, Installer, and Vendor Purchase Orders/Sales Orders in NetSuite in accordance with NS reports and project manager requests.
- Update Certificates of Insurance as required, including sending emails to installers and saving documents to vendor files.
- Greet customers, visitors, and coworkers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Answer incoming calls and direct callers to the appropriate party.
- Collect and distribute mail as well as maintain mailroom by keeping organized.
- Order adequate office and kitchen supplies as needed, as well as monthly inventory counts.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to problem solve system and accounting issues as well as analyze financial data.
- Attention to detail required.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage multiple deadlines.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- 1 year experience in accounting, including integrated ERP experience.
- 1 year NetSuite experience.
Company Information and Disclaimer
Working Conditions:
Normal office environment setting or may be exposed to noise if working in or around a production area. Schedule is Monday through Friday, normal business hours. Constantly required to sit, use hands, talk, and hear. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Position Location:
Position is onsite Monday through Friday (8AM-5PM) and not remote eligible. Only under special circumstance(s) will the person be allowed to work remotely and with express written consent of senior leadership.
Compensation:
Compensation for this position will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications, aligning with industry standards. The salary range for Dallas, TX, is also based upon geographical market standards for the industry and position in those areas.
There is a possibility of a bonus(es) based on individual performance and merit to be paid at the sole discretion of the company, but bonus(es) are not guaranteed unless outlined in writing in the offer letter extended to the candidate selected for the position.
