Locksmith Technician

Professional Lock & Key is excited to fill an open Locksmith position with our company! We have been offering security solutions to the Fredericksburg and surrounding area for over 54 years, and many of our employees have remained with the company for decades.

We’re looking for a dedicated individual who will be a welcomed addition to our team. We are preferably seeking someone with previous locksmith experience, however we are always happy to train in-house.

Locksmith Technician Job Description:

Job Type: Full-Time, 40 hours a week
Hours: Monday - Friday 9:30AM - 6PM

Main Duties will include -

Providing excellent customer service while performing:

• Key duplication
• Re-keying residential and commercial grade locks
• Servicing locks and related hardware of various types
• Changing safe combinations

Other Duties may include -

• Assisting with the installation and servicing of electronic access related jobs
• Assisting with safe deliveries, servicing and openings

Required Skills/Qualifications -

• Minimum High School or equivalent degree
• Clean driving and criminal records
• Equipment maintenance
• Basic safety
• Quality focus
• Reliable attendance
• Mechanical inclination
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well alone and in a team setting
• At least two years of experience in the locksmith related field is preferred, but in-house training will also be provided to you
• Must be a US Citizen

Pay: $14.00 - $23.00 per hour
