Job Overview:

As an Architectural Project Manager at Plump Engineering, you will play a crucial role in the planning, design, and successful execution of architectural projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project life cycle, ensuring client satisfaction, managing project teams, and meeting project goals on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead architectural projects from concept through completion, including design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs, providing design solutions, and ensuring their vision is realized.
  • Team Management: Coordinate and manage multidisciplinary project teams, including architects, engineers, designers, and consultants, to ensure seamless collaboration and project success.
  • Budget and Schedule: Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules, tracking progress and making adjustments as necessary to meet project objectives.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control procedures to ensure designs meet regulatory requirements, codes, and industry standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.
  • Documentation: Create and manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Permitting and Approvals: Liaise with regulatory authorities to obtain necessary permits and approvals for projects.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design intent.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Professional Architect (RA) license required.
  • Years of experience in architectural project management.
  • Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green building standards.
  • Experience with budgeting and scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
