The role of Technical Content Intern involves overseeing the production experience for Pluralsight authors, with the aim of achieving key production metrics for speed, quality, and learning effectiveness. This includes supporting authors in meeting Pluralsight's high code quality, audiovisual, technical, and design standards to publish interactive content that is accessible to learners in a timely manner. The Technical Content Intern places particular emphasis on ensuring that the needs of our global learners are taken into account, helping authors understand how each step of the process creates value for both the learner and the buyer. To succeed at this internship you will need strong project and time management, good communication skills, and some critical thinking. What you’ll own: Prioritizing the learner in all decisions, while working directly with authors Helping authors with lab production and project instruction standards to support learning efficacy for a global audience Proactively addressing risks and changes to minimize large-scale issues Troubleshooting author setups, tooling issues, and unit tests Reviewing submitted materials for quality compliance and providing constructive feedback to help authors improve Monitoring customer feedback and support tickets, and updating published content to align with recent changes Communicating effectively with a customer service approach and helping to identify tooling issues Helping the team with add-hoc projects as needed Experience you’ll need: A current undergraduate junior at an accredited university/college pursuing a degree in computer science or a similar major Foundational knowledge of programming and the ability to read and understand at least one programming language Knowledge of or interest in learning best practices in software testing and ability to create, proofread and edit technical documentation Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent time management and customer service skills Familiarity with GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, or similar code hosting platforms is a plus. #LI-SW1 #LI-Remote Pluralsight is the technology workforce development company that helps teams build better by knowing more and working better together.
