Club Steward
Expectations:
PYC requires exceptional attention to detail in all facets of the daily operation. Under direct supervision of the Club Manager, and by extension, the Commodore and Flag Officers. The Club Steward is responsible for all general maintenance and upkeep of the buildings, grounds, and equipment.
· Must be able to safely lift and move heavy objects.
· Comfortability on ladders.
· Carpentry/Facilities Maintenance background.
· Must be flexible and willing to adjust to the project needs of the club.
· Available for annual club events including Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day Weekends.
Daily Responsibilities:
1. Walk all grounds and buildings daily to check for any new issues or concerns.
2. Inspect, daily, the overall condition of the buildings and related equipment.
3. Reports any issues and makes improvement and maintenance recommendations to the Club Manager
4. Provide assistance and coordination when outside contractors are hired with regard to the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems when necessary.
5. General maintenance and repair for the Main Clubhouse, Jr. Clubhouse, Dock House and grounds.
6. Works closely with the PYC Committee Chairs including, but not limited to the Chairs of House and Grounds, Waterfront, Entertainment, and Food & Beverage on various projects as directed by the Club Manager.
7. Ensures that the buildings are properly cleaned and in good working condition.
8. Set up tables, chairs etc. for functions and events.
9. Performs janitorial duties and other related tasks as required.
10. Daily responsibilities subject to change based upon club needs.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
