Shift / Pay : 3rd Shift hours 11:00pm to 7:30am, Monday through Friday. Training on Dayshift for first few weeks. Weekly pay. 19.00/hour. $3.00 shift differential available.
Perform scheduled and assigned activities to meet production demands; bulk product blending from the receipt of raw chemicals to the final blended product, according to documented quality procedures and work order documents.
- Review, execute, and document assigned work orders according to defined processes and operations.
- Uses knowledge of chemical reactions to produce good quality batches and/or address errors as needed.
- Read, understand & follow all batching instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), ensuring all batch sheets are completed properly
- Safely operate all required equipment for batch production
- Utilize SAP & other computer programs, as required, to assist with batch production
- Communicate effectively with team leaders, co-workers and managers regarding batch processing or difficulties.
- Perform basic maintenance on pumps, mixers, and other equipment as requested or required.
- Daily tasks including standing, twisting, or bending over to stack or lift up to 50 pounds.
- Operations of forklift, including securing loads.
- Accurately complete bulk tank readings as required.
- Help unload bulk tanker trucks as requested or required.
- Complete raw chemical inventory functions as requested or required.
- Identify and stop the production of any suspected nonconforming product, process, or activity.
- Request, initiate, and support internal and external corrective action activities.
- Promote and preserve quality for customer satisfaction
- Practice, maintain, and promote good housekeeping and safe working environment in work areas and tank farm.
- Support and comply with company policies, procedures, and practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned
