Description

Position Summary:

The Branch Manager provides leadership, direction, and manages all phases of branch operations. The Branch Manager must possess leadership qualities that will inspire his/her team and position his/her branch for growth, while sharing PM Technologies Core Values.

This is largely an office-based role although you will spend time in meetings or visiting clients. Your working day will typically be standard office hours, Monday to Friday. However, when an issue is active, you’ll be expected to put the extra hours in to ensure the success of the customer.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Make short and long-term decisions to attain, maintain, and increase the branch’s profitability.

· Ensure operational excellence - - Maintain compliance with all contractual requirements, state and federal regulations, and PM Technologies policies and procedures.

· Selection, development, performance management, scheduling and engagement of branch team members.

· Networking and public relations to create and enhance industry and brand awareness.

  • Embrace technology to advance the utilization of our internal database and increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Achieve overall branch sales goals and service objectives.
  • Utilize financial and operational reporting to drive the financial performance of the branch, as well as the team’s performance.
  • Embrace diversity and foster a respectful environment for both customers and team members.
  • Other tasks as needed.

Essential Job Functions/Tasks:

· Leadership/Mentoring skills and prior supervisor experience required.

· Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and maintenance manuals, parts manuals, service manuals and wiring schematics.

· Using contacts to generate new business.

· Ability to solve problems in a fast paced, technical environment while always keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront.

· Attending meetings with customers.

· Maintaining good relationships with customers.

· Prepare various reports surrounding the metrics of the service and sales department.

· Keep fully informed regarding competitor developments.

· Related tasks as required.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Graduate Required, BA/BS degree or equivalent desired

Experience: 2-3 years’ experience in management of teams, customer service, and general branch responsibilities.

Required:

· Proven management or other relevant experience

· Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.

· Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.

· Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

· Excellent verbal and written communications skills

· High sense of urgency.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

· Knowledge of the standby power industry a plus

· Business Acumen

· Communication Proficiency

· Ability to always maintain a professional demeanor with customers and team members.

· Desire to participate in professional development and take on new responsibilities.

· Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Normal auto and air travel hazards will apply.

· Sit frequently for lengthy periods of time at computer.

· Lift 10 pounds ~ 12 / per week (typically to unload a box of paper containing 10 reams of 5 to 10 pounds each – paper will be placed on the counter or floor and individual reams must be lifted by employee and placed in cabinet.

· Alternate standing / walking ~ 2 hours per day

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
