Quality Technician

PMA Industries has been a leading manufacturer in the US providing quality metal parts for customers since 1982. We currently have multiple divisions covering core areas: etched metal parts and craft-related tools and supplies for crafts and creative industries (paper crafts, mixed media arts, DIY home, sewing, quilting, and soft arts), private label arts and crafts products, commercial signage, and aerospace and equipment specialized parts and plates. The Quality Technician will oversee the quality of the organization's products.

Compensation:

DOE, plus a competitive benefits package

Responsibilities:

Purchase and quality inspection of raw and processed materials.

Use coordinate measuring machines, micrometers, and other tools to perform precise measurements and inspections.

Utilize quality management systems to document and track quality assurance activities.

Write certificates of conformance and other documentation for job packets.

Education and Experience:

1-2 years of quality assurance experience preferred.

Familiarity with quality systems and methodologies.

High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.

Working knowledge of MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Requirements:

· Attention to detail for conducting thorough inspections.

· Blueprint reading, calibration, and knowledge of inspection tools preferred.

· Proficiency in both written and spoken English is preferable.

· Proficiency in coordinating measuring machines, micrometers, and other measurement tools.

· Strong attention to detail and ability to identify deviations from standards.

· Submit to a company-paid drug screening and background check.
