Description
As a Automotive Technician at ParkMyFleet, you will help build the future marketplace for mobility. On a typical day, you will intake new vehicles and perform an inspection on each one noting all unique identifiers. You will repair or replace needed items on each vehicle. You will escalate issues and learn new technology. Great communication and organizational skills are essential, as you will work directly with our Lot Attendants and other team members. This is a quickly growing company, with opportunities for advancement. The compensation for this position is $45.00 per hour.
This opportunity is for three shifts per week at four hours per shift. Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, or Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. More shifts may become available in the future.

Responsibilities
- Determine engine type, engine condition, and any engine repairs needed.
- Review maintenance records and concisely summarize.
- Determine transmission type and any repairs needed and note if a drive-train is a two- or four-wheel drive.
- Evaluate dents, scratches, and dings.
- Note tire condition, tread, flats, and state of the hubcaps, as well as any non-listed damage.
- Check the vehicle for decals and emergency equipment.
- Note any interior damage to the seats, dash, and floor.
- Identify the type of sound system, A/C unit, airbag options, and other features of the vehicle.
- Complete basic repairs to the vehicle, including tire changes/replacements, windshield replacements, light replacements, oil changes, graphics removals, and license plate replacements.
- Perform DOT inspections, and scans for recalls.
- Maintain records of completed work in an inventory management portal
Mandatory Qualifications
- CDL license
- A Level Certification and at least three years of experience
- Ability to use computer diagnostic tools
- Fluency in English
- Ability to complete editable PDFs on a laptop, save and upload to an online inventory management system
- Appropriate toolkit
- Exhibit safe work methods and practices
Preferred Qualifications
- B, E, H, and L Level Certifications
