Reports To: Director of Property Management
FLSA Status: Exempt
Job Summary: Responsible for managing the lease renewal process for all rental agreements between residents and the management company. Their primary role is to ensure that existing residents are given the opportunity to renew their lease agreements. This includes assessing resident’s financial eligibility, overseeing lease signing, and acting as a liaison between residents and management company.
Job Responsibilities: including but not limited to
- Coordinate and manage the lease renewal process for all residents.
- Ensure timely notifications to residents regarding lease expirations.
- Engage with residents to understand their requirements for lease renewal.
- Assess resident’s financial viability to determine their eligibility for lease renewal.
- Negotiates leasing terms and conditions and close deals.
- Acts as a landlord for property owners and helps them navigate the property market.
- Advertises available properties using a variety of media and promoting materials.
- Confirms rental application data and personal references.
- Prepare and maintain accurate lease renewal documentation.
- Facilitate the signing of lease renewals with residents, ensuring all required documents is completed and executed accurately.
- Stays knowledgeable of the property market status.
- Ensures proper maintenance and inspects properties periodically.
- Provide exceptional customer services to residents, addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years leasing and/or on-site experience in a rental community.
- Proficiency with personal computers and MS Office, and Yardi
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Outgoing personality and enjoy working with the general public.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain effective working relationships with contacted agencies, co-workers, and the management team.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays when needed.
Salary : $17 - $21
