$2,500 Sign-on Bonus
Earn $500 at 60 days of employment, $1,000 at 6 months of employment, and $1,000 at 1 year of employment if hired by 6/30/2022!
The laser operator safely performs laser cutting for a variety of work orders and company requirements. This position requires the physical strength to lift to 5 - 25 pounds continuously and repetitively throughout the entire shift.
SHIFT SCHEDULE AVAILABLE:
- 1st Shift: Mondays - Thursdays; 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned as needed.
- Perform typical laser cutting operations
- Select proper cutting programs and proper fixtures
- Establish proper stop locations and adjust laser beam focal point
- Make proper set-ups for cutting operations
- Perform all dimensional inspections
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions
- Complete part clean up according to specifications
- Work at different workstations as production needs require
- Complete all paperwork, material issues, and print tags
- Perform tape shot
- Must be certified to complete inspections daily
- Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- High School Diploma/GED required
- 1 years recent, minimum experience in a manufacturing environment; required
- Strong math skills
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and tooling
- Able to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills
