Job Description

The Human Resources department seeks a Benefits associate to assist with daily operations as support for the benefits team. This is a temporary position expected to work 35 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage benefits help email account and phone calls
  • Meet with employees for general benefits matters
  • Review and process day-to-day Workday transactions 
  • Audit weekly benefit integration files, work with our carriers in correcting any errors, communicating terminations, etc
  • Auditing payrolls for any benefit changes and payroll dues
  • Enter timesheets for Local 94

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years experience administering a full range of benefits programs
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Adhere to the University Covid-19 policy
