Position Summary:
Assembles and/or tests products per specification Assembles kits Performs final inspection, packaging, and documentation for product shipment
Essential Duties: Able to read, understand, and follow manufacturing instructions and specifications Using multiple components, will assemble products due to company specifications Assembly operations may include: screwing, assembling parts to each other, stripping, crimping, and preparing wires for assembly. Marking and labeling products. Ensuring that the final packaging of the products will preserve quality Train others in assembly operations
Job Accountabilities (you will be accountable for and evaluated on during your performance review): Overall accuracy of the parts assembled. Meeting production quotas as given by the Electronics Lead or Electronics Dept Manager Clocking into assembly work orders. Maintaining a safe work environment, one that ensures quality of products manufactured. Always thinking about what your contribution is to the PMR quality system. Act as a team player. Work with others to increase morale, quality assurance, and build confidence in the electronics department as well as the organization and our customers Set a good work example for others around you. How you take initiative to increase quality and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications: (modified per individual job description) High School Diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience, and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as assembly instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of the organization Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
