Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain inspection reports
  • Ensure compliance to federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications
  • Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence
  • Perform inspections across all stages of production
    • Raw material Receiving Inspection
    • Project In-Process Inspections
    • Final Project Inspection
    • Packaging Inspection
  • Prepare and maintain test data for review
  • Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards
  • Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Solid understanding of measuring and test equipment
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience
  • Knowledge of the Welding, Machining, and Millwright trades
  • Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards
  • Knowledge of the different types of NDE and the limitations of them are
  • Ability to use precision measuring equipment
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret
