Position Summary:
We're seeking a Senior Contracts Manager for a dynamic defense solutions provider focused on addressing critical challenges in the space domain and ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance) for DOD, IC, and commercial clients. This role is essential for ensuring the strategic alignment and compliance of contracts within the organization's operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with at least 10 years of experience in government contracting, including deep knowledge of FAR and DFARS.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, coupled with exceptional communication skills.
- Strong ability to work independently, showcasing professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and robust problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in negotiation, risk management, and strategic planning.
- Serve as the primary contact for all matters related to contracts, effectively managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of contracts and subcontracts, from initiation through negotiation, execution, and closeout.
- Lead the development and submission of proposals, ensuring timely and compliant delivery of subcontractor deliverables.
- Develop and execute strategic subcontracting plans, including RFIs, RFPs, and SOWs, to achieve the organization's long-term objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies, maintaining audit-ready documentation.
- Manage pricing strategies, cost estimation, and subcontractor performance to meet project budgets, technical specifications, and schedules.
- Apply advanced negotiation skills and risk management strategies to resolve complex contractual issues.
