Position Overview

As an Aviation Asset Manager within PNC's Aviation Administration organization, you will be based in anywhere within the PNC footprint.This is a remote position and can sit anywhere within the PNC footprint, except for Colorado, Hawaii, Alaska. In person activities may occur periodically based on business need.
Job Description
- Responsible for partnership with management team of the following: manufacturer activities, aircraft events/technical changes, regulatory actions, market trends, resulting impacts on portfolio and shifts in underwriting preferences. Provides technical guidance to clients around industry trends. Serves as liaison to aviation-exclusive manufacturers and dealers.
- Underwriting Processing - Manages approved appraiser list, maintains ongoing relationship with appraisers, maintains plane surveyor approval criterion, selects aircraft appraisers for each transaction, prepares collateral coverage analyses, presents collateral opinion at credit review forums, sets residual value, reviews and approves collateral-specific terms on lease.
- Portfolio Management - Tracks overall portfolio of aircraft and alerts team to issues/concerns via quarterly portfolio management reviews, responsible for overseeing and executing resulting aircraft-specific actions, oversees aircraft compliance process, participates in FASB reviews of residual values, participates in aircraft workouts alongside ART.
- Documentation/Servicing Management - Reviews and approves the documentation regarding maintenance provisions and usage limitations
- Compliance - adheres to regulatory review processes e.g. longbook review, usage, etc.

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry relevant experience is typically 8 years. Specific certifications are often required.
