As an Operations Group Manager within PNC's Mortgage Operations organization, you will be based in Charlotte, NC.Job Description
- Defines and executes the overall service delivery strategy for national business units with direct customer interaction. Creates operating plan. Defines and communicates strategy to operations team. Responsible for multiple functions across one or more sites. Primarily manages managers. Typically delivers services to companies with greater than 10MM in annual revenue.
- Manages and is responsible for achieving desired business results. Determines operating standards for client servicing in collaboration with the business. Executes to achieve desired compliance, audit and budgetary results. May serve as a senior level representative for an operational group. Oversees the resolution of escalated issues. Own third party and/or senior level business partner relationships.
- Determines talent strategy in partnership with human resources. Manages, motivates and develops management team. Leads staff meetings, sets strategy and may translate into tactical operating plans.
- Provides consultation and advice to internal and external partners and executes on creating an environment in which products and/or processes are designed and/or followed to ensure customer satisfaction. Oversees strategic improvement initiatives and may serve as project sponsor. Recommends and influences policy improvements.
- Accountable for the control framework for unit(s) of responsibility. Review, identify and anticipate current and future risks. Implements controls and remediates risks. Ensures an effective risk management environment. Creates and oversees risk mitigation and business resiliency strategies.

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree. Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry experience is typically 8+ years. At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.Education
