As a Solutions Architect within PNC's ACFR Strategy, Innovation and Architecture organization, you will be based in Cleveland, OH, Pittsburgh, PA or Columbus, OH. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.As a Solutions Architect, you will be part of the ACFR (Asset & Liability Management, Capital Markets, Risk, and Finance Technology) group. You will work with enterprise architecture and engineering teams to enable business outcomes through high-quality solution architectures. As a trusted partner, you will consult, co-create, and document architecture designs that meet business and enterprise requirements. Teams will count on you to identify, document, and recommend improvements to proposed designs. Recommendations, tradeoffs, and opportunities for architecture enhancement, new technology, and reuse will be presented to architecture review forums and senior leadership as applicable.
Due to the nature of the position, we prefer candidates who have prior solution architecture experience. Preferred candidates will possess strong critical thinking skills, have broad technology experience, and demonstrate a high aptitude about solution design and architecture.

Job Description
- Designs solution roadmaps, according to business strategies and processes in solution architecture, through client requirement analysis, cross-team collaboration and problem resolution.
- Designs solution roadmaps, and system and software architecture according to business strategies and solution architecture standards/processes.
- Analyzes client requirements and determines appropriate solutions to these requirements based on business needs.
- Resolves routine to moderately complex problems and issues in solution architecture; assesses any potential risks and determines solutions to these risks.
- Works with other solution architecture staff, technology experts and business stakeholders to provide functional support to clients on solution architecture updates.
