CPA firm in East Brunswick seeks a responsible individual with strong communication skills, as well as working knowledge of Quickbooks, MS Word, Outlook & Excel, and Accounting Procedures.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions
- Update and maintain the general ledger
- Reconciliation of entries into the accouting system
- Recording of debit and credits
- Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers
- Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions
- Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements
- Monitor any variances from the projected budget
- Attending meetings with the CPA
- Writing notes
- Building relationship with clients

Experience and Knowledge:
- Understanding accounting best practice
- Data entry skills
- High attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Produce work with a high level of accuracy
- Professionalism and organization skills
- Associates degree or at least five years of experience
- Knowledge of Quickbooks, and other accounting applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
