QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS degree or equivalent
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in Quality
  • Strong problem analysis/solving skills using industry standard Quality Analysis methods
  • Proficient to an advanced level in MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Working knowledge of other MS Office products

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

Entire Quality Team

Interfaces internally with Procurement, Operations, Engineering, Marketing/Sales; and externally with other PNY organizations

Interfaces with Suppliers

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop efficient methods for Quality data collection that would facilitate analysis, issue resolution, and reporting
  • Analyze Quality data and report results by product category weekly, quarterly, and or on demand
  • Take action on critical failures, negative data trends, and customer complaints through the issuance of Supplier Corrective Actions (SCARs), Failure Analysis Requests (FARs), and or Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to process owners
  • Ensure all corrective actions are effective and closed in a timely manner
  • Coordinate the calibration of equipment requiring the use of external calibration services
  • Prepare Material/Supplier performance reports for Quality and Procurement management, as required
  • Assist in keeping the Quality department’s procedures and work instructions updated for efficiency, best practices, and to meet business objectives
  • Assist in the preparation of our semiannual ISO 9001 Management Review Meetings and Surveillance Audits
  • Provide backup support for Materials Quality management, as needed
  • Assist in other areas if required
