Are you outgoing? Do you like both front and back of house? We are a small market which offers sushi, prepared meals and convenience items. We are looking for someone with sushi experience that is also happy to greet and talk with customers to help them find what they need in the market and cash them out. Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook sushi dishes according to recipes and quality standards - Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and tools - Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines in the handling and preparation of sushi - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation - Greet customers as they walk into the market and cash them out - Assist with inventory management and ordering of sushi ingredients - Provide excellent customer service by taking special requests and accommodating dietary needs Requirements: - Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role in the food industry - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers - Excellent knife skills and ability to handle raw fish safely - Flexibility to work days, evenings and weekends as required If you have a passion for sushi preparation and have the necessary skills and experience, we would love to hear from you. Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
