A member of the Solutions Practice Leadership Team, the Vice President of Product (VP-P) sets the strategic vision and strategy for Point B’s product set and is responsible for enabling the delivery of technology products to our customers. The VP-P focuses on directing the creation and evolution of technology products that position Point B to deliver extraordinary customer outcomes through integrated solutions and asset-based offerings.  The VP-P drives the build out and management of our product strategy, lifecycle, and operations. Working across Point B, the VP-P champions the integration of product into the sales and delivery of Point B’s offerings.
 
WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO:
Partners with the Solutions team to understand solution strategy and how product offerings accelerate our ability to meet customer needs
Partners with Marketing, Sales Insights, and Industry teams to understand the ever-changing customer and industry environment, hear the voice of the customer, and determine product offerings to build, sell and deliver
Leads the formation and execution of Point B’s strategic product set including product roadmaps that define MVP product sets and future product capabilities 
In partnership with other leaders, drives product go-to-market strategies both integrated into solutions and standalone as an asset-based offering
Builds and leads the product organization ensuring that Point B manages the product lifecycle for our customers in a way that drives satisfaction
Measures and manages the profitability of Point B’s products, building a portfolio of offerings that enables long-term growth 
Is responsible for annual financial planning for products
Assesses and rationalizes product performance against plan and continuously improves return on investment, refreshing strategies as appropriate
Sets performance standards for products and manages long term customer success  
Participates in the Solutions Leadership Team, forming and executing integrated strategies across the firm 
Partners with MCS leadership to ensure that our talent strategy includes the skills to implement current and future product offerings
Partners with our M&A team on due diligence, product acquisitions as needed
Sets technology standards in collaboration with our Industry, Tech Build, and IT teams
Actively engages in Point B’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts
Makes hiring, promotion, compensation, and termination decisions for the product team
Develops leaders through performance management, consistent feedback, and development opportunities that help them achieve their professional goals
Ensures leadership continuity with succession planning and ongoing leadership development
Develops employees’ professional skills and provides career mentorship
Grows and develops personal leadership skills
Builds and manages a versatile team that can share information and quickly and effectively pivot to meet emerging business and operational needs
Upholds and models Point B leadership and culture tenets and values
Supports team efforts and builds authentic relationships with individuals in work groups and teams

WHAT WE EXPECT YOU’VE ALREADY DONE:
B.A. or B.S. required. MBA desired
Minimum of 10 years product management experience
Minimum of 5 years in professional services environment
5 years of managing and developing people
Proven ability to build a product organization from the ground floor
Experience delivering products across different industries
Strong executive working relationships that can swim upstream, when needed
Experience balancing competing priorities
Solid working knowledge of strategic, budgeting and sales planning
