ROLE OVERVIEW
Point is seeking an experienced instructional designer to join its growing team. This is a critical and highly visible role. You’ll be instrumental in the development of team training strategies to help maximize the effectiveness of our Production Team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop on-the-job learning aids and quick guides that enhance participant learning for Production Team functions and other topics as well as develop curriculum using a performance-based instructional design and training model (e.g. ADDIE/ISD) to design, develop, and implement training programs.
- Design and develop learning solutions by partnering with subject matter experts within the company or by collaborating with outside vendors
- Manage logistics, or co-training, and/or being the resident expert on the curriculum and trainer guidance for facilitating curriculum
- Research current trends in curriculum development and implement innovative and effective solutions to improve trainee outcomes.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with internal and external partners
- Utilize a systematic instructional design methodology to analyze, design, develop, and evaluate quality training materials and courses
- Conduct detailed needs analysis, task analysis, learner analysis, and performance gap analysis to determine appropriate instructional design strategies
- Create training evaluations and/or knowledge and performance assessments for all training deliverables
- Perform the entire instructional design process following the ADDIE and/or ISD model
- Design, develop, and implement innovative multi-media learning solutions using instructional design methodology
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of learning theories/principles and instructional design processes
YOU HAVE
- Experience with eLearning tools- Articulate, Rise, Camtasia, etc.
- Skilled eye with modern graphics language and placement
- Has learning facilitation experience
- Minimum of 5 years in instructional design and eLearning
- Bachelors Preferred; Masters in eLearning instructional design or related field a plus
