Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy and maintain software systems and processes for quantitative research and systematic trading.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following coding best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to design, evaluate, and implement effective technology solutions.
- Debug and troubleshoot production issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Identify means to increase automation, performance, and robustness of trading and research systems.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or other related discipline.
- 5 years of professional software engineering experience, with at least one year of C experience.
- Proficiency in Python and C .
- Familiarity with Linux and basic knowledge of hardware (storage, network).
- Knowledge of version control and full software lifecycle (building, testing, deployment, logging/monitoring, debugging).
- Experience interfacing with execution/order management systems.
- A team player with effective communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Willing to take ownership of his/her work, working independently within a small team.
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
